A brand new season of Unaussprechlichen Kulten, a show on the Kyiv-based 20ft Radio, opens with the seventh part of an annoying series titled Beginner's Guide to Japanese No Wave Underground. The series is an exploration of Japanese experimental pop music of the 80’s: noisy new wave, avant-synth wave, and electroacoustic minimalism. Parts one through six are available to stream on the show’s archive.
Unaussprechlichen Kulten is an ongoing segment on 20ft Radio that is described as an “endless pilgrimage to the other side of the music ark” and features a selection of obscure & rare tunes. The show is hosted by Anthony Junkoid, one of the co-founders of OKO magazine. Unaussprechlichen Kulten is just one of the ongoing shows that are broadcast from 20ft Radio’s headquarters at the former ribbon-weaving factory “Strichka.” Since 2017 they have recorded over 1,000 mixes in different genres and moods. 20ft Radio is non-commercial and free from advertising and operates with the goal of sharing music and information.
