Samir Bantal

Samir Bantal is an architect and director of AMO, OMA’s research and design studio, which applies architectural thinking to fields beyond architecture. He joined OMA in 2015 and has directed AMO since 2016. His work explores the relationship between architecture, contemporary culture, media, technology, and institutions. He co-curated Countryside: The Future with Rem Koolhaas and has led AMO’s ongoing research into rural transformation.
