Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics Residency

Deadline: March 15th

Iranian, Georgian, French, Italian, German, and Chinese independent artists and cultural organization representatives are invited to submit project proposals for the NCA Cultural Crossroad 2025 programme at the Henrik Igityan National Centre for Aesthetics (NCA).

The programme will run from June 12th through 25th, 2025, with 10 days in Yerevan and 5 days across Armenia's regions of Tavush, Shirak, Lori, Gegharkunik, and Syunik.

Supported by Armenia's Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, this programme aims to foster cultural exchange through short-term artistic projects. It will strengthen intercultural ties between neighboring, European, and Asian countries while establishing new partnerships.

Participating artists will receive resources and a platform to share their work, skills, and knowledge with international and local artists and communities. The programme offers participants insight into the cultural similarities and differences between Armenia, Georgia, and Iran, while European and Asian artists will explore the region's art sector and cultural heritage.

Selected projects will be matched with NCA subdivisions based on their alignment with each subdivision's expertise. Project outcomes—including exhibitions, open lessons, presentations, small-scale concerts, and short performances—will be showcased in Yerevan.

Projects must focus on one of these artistic disciplines: Fine Arts, Theatre, Dance, or Music.

Travel expenses, accommodation, food, and in-country transportation will be covered by the National Centre for Aesthetics with support from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia. No artist fee will be provided. There is no application fee.
