Art and Decolonization is a long-term project organized jointly by the staff of the São Paulo Museum of Art and the Afterall Research Center at the University of the Arts in London. The program of the project includes seminars and publications on new artistic and curatorial practices that explore and critique colonial legacies in contemporary art making.

A series of meetings will take place in the near future (each will start at 21:00 Moscow time):

— On March 23rd, Diego del Valle Ríos, writer and editor of Terremoto magazine, and curator and researcher from Funambulist magazine, Margarida Nzuzi Waco, will talk about the decolonization of museums;

— On March 25th, Osmundo Pinho, Professor of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies at Recôncavo da Bahia Federal University, Brazil, and Rahul Rao, Senior Lecturer in Political Science at the SOAS in London, will host a seminar on university decolonization;

— On March 30th, artists Rachael Minott and Rosana Paulino will reflect on decolonial art.
