The Globus FORWARD grant supports artistic and cultural collaborations operating in wide transnational settings and ready for further development. This initiative aims to strengthen the long-term capacities of new collaborative formats.
The Globus FORWARD grant provides up to DKK 500,000 ($72,500) to support the further development of existing collaborations that have a clear link to the Nordic region. The grant period can last up to 2 years, during which grantees can manage their own development plans within core areas such as:
— Clarifying roles, purposes, and strategic priorities
— Adapting and further developing collaboration structures and formats
— Enhancing communication capacities and advocacy
— Embedding monitoring and learning processes
— Advancing language diversity, equity, and fair practices
— Developing partnerships and coalitions
— Improving sustainability efforts and planning
— Enhancing financial management and fundraising strategies
— Building staff and leadership capacities
— Ensuring physical and digital security
— Building legal competences
In addition to financial support, the Fund offers peer-networking opportunities focused on capacity building and exchange across grantees.
The programme is open to previous Globus grantees as well as new applicants. Those who haven't received Globus funding before are recommended to submit a pre-application to check eligibility before preparing a full application. The pre-application form is open from June 20th to August 1st, 2024. The application period is from June 14th to September 15th, 2024, closing at 23:59 CET.
Applications must be submitted through the Fund’s digital platform. All applications must be in English.
