UNIDEE and Cittadellarte-Fondazione Pistoletto are excited to announce three open calls for participation in the Fall/Winter 2024 Season of UNIDEE Modules. This season celebrates UNIDEE Residency Programs' 25th anniversary of fostering educational encounters for artists engaged in art and social transformation.
The UNIDEE Modules consist of three short-residency programs, each spanning five days and accommodating up to twelve participants. These modules offer a diverse range of activities including seminars, presentations, group discussions, critiques, workshops, and visits. Participants will have the valuable opportunity to share and delve into their ongoing practice or action research alongside peers, mentors, and guest speakers, fostering a collaborative and enriching learning environment. Participation in all modules is free of charge. Limited partial and full travel bursaries available for those in need.
Module Descriptions:
Module I (Nov 4th–9th, 2024): Unfolding Ecosystems: Institutional Practices from a Networked Perspective offers the opportunity to rethink organizational structures and foster sustainable, equitable collaborations through a transnational lens.
Module II (Nov 18th–22nd, 2024): Ways of Practicing Conviviality: the artist as Host investigates artistic attitudes and qualities that enable artists to invite others into the creative process with responsibility and responsiveness.
Module III (Dec 2nd–6th, 2024): Cracking Concrete: making and maintaining radical structures through place-based practice explores practical and theoretical tools that can be used to create radical and equitable structures through place-based practices.
