MAKE/SENSE and MESH Festival are inviting submissions for their innovative workshop "Imagination as a Site of Struggle". This unique opportunity seeks practice-based research writing that goes beyond conventional approaches, recognizing that awareness and facts alone are insufficient for meaningful change.
The workshop aims to explore creative modes of critical knowledge production and engagement. It will result in a journal issue reflecting both the content and style of the contributions. The event will take place on October 18th, 2024, from 9:30 to 14:30, as part of the MESH Festival.
Participants will receive a fee of 250 CHF for their contribution. Additionally, the organizers can cover travel and accommodation costs up to 250 CHF. As an added benefit, all participants will enjoy free entry to the MESH Festival.
Application Guidelines:
— Proposals for 10-minute presentations are welcome
— Accepted formats include poetry, playwriting, science fiction, storytelling, grey literature, reports, briefs, sketchbooks, blog posts, manuals, and manifestos
— Send proposals to: makesense.hgk@fhnw.ch
