Asia NOW, the Paris Asian Art Fair, celebrates its 10th Anniversary edition with a Ceremony La Monnaie de Paris. This milestone edition, under the artistic direction of Radicants, founded by Nicolas Bourriaud, offers a sensorial showcase that challenges the traditional art fair format. It features a global selection of galleries, site-specific installations, projects, and performances from across Asia, fostering rich dialogues around contemporary issues.
The fair explores ceremony as a cultural practice, celebrating ancestral wisdom and transforming social structures. It amplifies voices from the Global South, redefining Asia as a spirit to be harnessed rather than a fixed geography.
Key highlights include commissioned installations by Sumayya Vally and Britto Arts Trust, and performances by artists such as Charwei Tsai, Bishwati Goswami, Nikhil Chopra, and Uriel Barthélémi.
With 70 galleries from 21 countries, including both returning and first-time participants, Asia NOW continues to be a vital platform for Asian contemporary art, fostering empathy, resilience, and interconnectedness through artistic expression.
You can find tickets and more information about the exhibition on the Asia Now website.
