Performa

The Performa platform presents The Threshold Cycle, an online exhibition of video works by twenty four artists. Videos are available on the Radical Broadcast virtual space until November 30th.

Threshold brings together art from the past five decades dedicated to the cultural and political transformations and the crises that caused them. According to curators, reaching the threshold it is precisely  that which can catalyze social change. But how can you do art in times of war, civil protests, oppression, environmental disasters, or a pandemic? The artists of this series try to find answers to these questions by viewing modern culture as a place for reflection, sorrow, and healing. Authors include Yoko Ono, Gran Fury, David Wojnarowicz, Yael Bartana, Walid Raad, Rabih Mroué, Shirin Neshat, Glenn Ligon, Nicole Miller, Mykki Blanco, and others.

Video works are broadcast around the clock. A detailed show schedule is available on performa-arts.org
