The Leaders of Change Foundation is announcing an open competition for candidates from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan for the Lane Kirkland Scholarships in Poland for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The Lane Kirkland Scholarships provide various benefits, including free access to university classes and support from an academic advisor, as well as a stipend of PLN 22,500 (paid in 9 installments over 9 months). The scholarships are available in different fields such as Economics and Management, Administration/Management, Law, Social Sciences, Political Science, Journalism, Environment and Climate Protection, Security and Cybersecurity, Crisis Management, Development Policy and Humanitarian Aid, and fields related to the reconstruction of areas destroyed by war.
The scholarships are open to individuals who represent professional groups such as civil servants, lawyers, entrepreneurs, NGO managers, academic teachers, and journalists. Preference is given to candidates actively working in their professional and social fields, with significant achievements, and who have not studied in Poland before.
To apply, candidates need to fill out an online application form and provide a detailed personal questionnaire, reasons for participating in the program, and a project outline. They also need to submit two letters of reference and a copy of their Bachelor's or Master's degree diploma.
The Lane Kirkland Scholarships cover various expenses, including accommodation during the stay in Poland, health insurance, transportation, research materials, and participation in orientation courses.
