Experimental Film Festival MIEFF Announces Open Call

Films of various art forms are accepted until May 3rd

The MIEFF platform supports anyone who creates or is interested in moving images. The organizers of the festival want to establish links between the Russian and international communities and introduce a wide audience to experimental cinema in all its diversity. Applications from interdisciplinary artists and directors to participate in the competition program are accepted until May 3rd.

A variety of art forms are welcomed: video art, experimental film, animation, music video, found footage, essay film, audiovisual performance, and others. Short films (up to fifty minutes) created in 2020 and 2021 are accepted , and full-length films are also accepted for participation in the out-of-competition programs of the festival. All the works should be either Russian or Moscow premieres. This year the festival will take place from August 11th to 16th.
