Scholarship at the University of Regensburg in Bavaria

Applications for master's, postgraduate, or doctoral studies can be submitted by December 1st, 2020

The University of Regensburg in Bavaria has begun accepting scholarship applications from international students and researchers for the 2021-22 academic year. The aim of the program is to support scientific cooperation and academic exchange between Bavaria and Central, Eastern, and South-Eastern Europe. The deadline for applications is the 1st of December, 2020.

The scholarships are designed to fund graduate, postgraduate, doctoral, or one-year research internships at other Bavarian universities. The annual scholarship can be renewed twice for a maximum period of up to three years. Applications are expected from graduates from Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, and Ukraine. There are age restrictions for scholarship holders: applicants for the master's program are eligible to those up to thirty years of age, the other programmes are eligible to those below the age of thirty five.

Regensburg University is a public research university in Bavaria, founded in 1962 and located in the medieval city of Regensburg. The university has eleven faculties that  implement a wide range of educational and research programs—from chemistry and pharmaceuticals to philosophy and art history.
