The interdisciplinary research project The Terraforming and Strelka Mag has announced the Planetary Governance open call. Articles, projects, and studies related to planetary governance processes and their impact on urban life and the future of people are accepted. The application can be submitted until April 10th.
The organizers expect original and provocative ideas and projects that are “unconventional, and honest—even if productively controversial” and involve governance in its many interpretations: legal, political, cognitive, computational, linguistic, biological, and others. Themes are indicated, but are not limited to the range of these issues: populations, borders and mobility, positive biopolitics, zoning Earth, ecological engineering and enforcement, another kind of technocracy, space law, and modes of planetarity.
Applications are accepted in English through a special form. Successful candidates will receive a fee of € 150.
