Ashakal Alwan
Ashkal Alwan has opened a vacancy for a program coordinator of the events, exhibitions, and the development of online platforms and audiovisual archives. Applications are accepted until May 15th.
The primary responsibilities of the position include implementing and coordinating public events (lectures, symposiums, film screenings), exhibitions and online spaces of the center, maintaining budgets and reports, and close communication with technical staff and graphic designers to develop interface and content of the center. Knowledge of the local and international cultural context, experience in managing large-scale events, and a knowledge of English and Arabic is required. The Lebanese Association for Plastic Arts, Ashkal Alwan is a non-profit organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. Since 1993, the center has been supporting contemporary artistic practices and developing research and educational programs.
