Artists are invited to apply for the 2025 cycle of the Artistic Development Program, initiated by 421 Arts Campus. This program aims to support early to mid-career artists and creative practitioners based in the UAE by offering financial and logistical assistance, while also emphasizing conceptual development and exhibition production.
Selected artists will receive a participation grant of 10,000 AED and guidance from experienced art educators, interlocutors, and curators. They will have the opportunity to produce a new body of work for a solo exhibition in 2025, specifically in Gallery 1 of the 421 Arts Campus. Each cycle of the program accepts three participating artists, who can choose an interlocutor of their choice to support them throughout the project development process.
With this support, artists will develop their exhibition from ideation to installation, including the production of text materials and the organizing of a public program that responds to the ideas and themes presented in their exhibition.
