The 2024 edition of TAB will focus on the relationship between people and natural resources. It will highlight the critical role that architects, urban planners, communities, policymakers, and environmentalists play in navigating this complex dynamic. The Biennial will take place from September 28th to October 19th, 2024.
The winners in the Physical Projects category are Kera with their project "Cenotaph," Tekla Aslanishvili, Aleksandra Aroshvili, Evelina Gambino, and Natalia Nebieridze with "Unmapping Energy Geography," Julia Obleitner, Helvijs Savickis, Anna Kintsurashvili with "The Weather is Nice, Let's Panic," and Michel Kessler with "Transforming Legacy: Fog Catcher Obelisk," which is financed by the Swiss Art Council Pro Helvetia. The winner of the educational activity/workshop category is Parallel Class (Mari Kalabegashvili, Zura Tsopurashvili) with their project "Dedani."
This year's jury was composed of Anna Sala from the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Miguel Santos from the Trienal de Arquitectura de Lisboa, Salome Katamadze and Duccio Fantoni from the NOIA practice, Giorgi Nishnianidze from Ruderal, and Gigi Shukakidze, Tinatin Gurgenidze, and Otar Nemsadze from the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial.
