The Para Site Center for Contemporary Art in Hong Kong has announced a vacancy for a Deputy Director. Job responsibilities include promoting the center, organizing fundraising campaigns, developing external communications, and strategic partnerships. In addition, the deputy director can participate in different projects or even curate some of them. Applications are accepted until October 7th.
In recent years, Para Site has established itself as an independent cultural institution that has become a model and catalyst for the artistic and intellectual processes taking place in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The ideal candidate should have a college degree in the arts, have at least three years of experience in administrative positions in cultural institutions, and be proficient in financial matters and in organizing fundraising campaigns. Preference is given to applicants with a knowledge of Cantonese or Mandarin or those with experience in Hong Kong or other East Asian countries.
