The Arab Documentary Photography Program (ADPP) is a collaborative initiative by the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) and the Prince Claus Fund, in partnership with the Magnum Foundation. Launched in 2014, the ADPP aims to support creative documentary photographers in the Arab region by fostering practices that document, educate, and advocate through powerful imagery.
The ADPP provides up to 8 photographers with a grant of $7,000 to work on their projects for 10 months. The grant can be used to start a new project or complete an existing one. Grantees will benefit from mentorship by distinguished program mentors and will attend three specialized workshops (two in-person and one virtual). The results of the open call will be announced on January 15th, 2025.
