The Mophradat's grant program provides flexible financial support for livelihood, research, residencies, production of new work, and the curation and presentation shows, as well as structured dialogue between participating artists and peers.
The grants of either 4,000 USD or 8,000 USD will be distributed amongst eight artists, who also participate in six conversations organized by Mophradat. The conversations would take place once a month during the first six months of the grant period. The program does not cover production and post-production projects for feature films, the production of LPs, degree-based study programs, or literary projects.
Mophradat is offering grants for artists or collectives from and in the Arab world who consider this region as home. Applicants must demonstrate engagement with a specific project or theme, have a compatible working methodology, have completed previous artworks, and have a clear intended outcome that is achievable within twelve months of the grant submission deadline.
